Resource Centre

We offer a welcoming non-judgemental environment for people with experience of mental or emotional distress. Open 365 days a year the Resource Centre aims to provide:

  • Crisis, social and emotional support.
  • Up to date information, through our library of leaflets, journals, books and videos.
  • Individual and/or group support.
  • A safe and supportive place, which enables people to achieve goals and ambitions.
  • Volunteering opportunities.
  • Educational opportunities, from a variety of providers including Pembrokeshire College.
  • Access to other organisations both within the centre and around the county.  For example Mental Health Advocacy Pembrokeshire and Citizens Advice Bureau.
  • Liaising with Police, Probation, Misuse teams, Courts.
  • Low-level advocacy.
  • Valued occupation and meaningful activity, swimming, walking, horticulture.
  • Involvement in our community, adoption of a local beach with the support of Keep Wales Tidy.
  • Food in Mind, healthy life style choices – Delicious food and fitness too!
  • Creative Solutions, film making, art, craft, newsletter, photography.

The centre was open to everyone for 1456 hours over 365 days this year. Whilst also providing a further 260 out of hours individual support. The centre also hosted a variety of events, training sessions and groups for an additional 216 hours. This means that in total the centre was open for 1932 hours.

There have been 3972 recorded visits to the centre, 280 men 322 women have received support and volunteers have given 3808 hours to this project this year.
